A lot has happened since our last post. Since his first steps back in September, Porter has been walking and pseudo-running like a champ, despite a larger left leg. Porter is scheduled for his last surgery this Thursday to repair a blood vessel in his left leg that was damaged during one of his heart catheterizations a few months ago. According to the docs, the swelling should go down to normal within a few months. We were very happy to hear that Dr. Koutlas will be doing this surgery as well. We're heading to Greenville for pre-op on Wednesday, and staying at the Ronald McDonald house for (hopefully) no more than 4 days.
For Thanksgiving this year Porter got to spend some quality time with Grandma Bebe and Papa Peter in Mooresville, visiting the playground daily. Porter really loved the big slide!
