Oooooo Ahhhhhh

Porter had his 2 month birthday this past week, and he's certainly starting to bloom! He's tracking very well on both sights and sounds, and has begun 'talking' back to us. He is also getting more used to belly time (but there's still a ways to go!). Check it out:







At his last pediatrician appointment (Sept. 21) he weighed in at 12 lbs 5 oz and measured 24.5 inches in length. I had to pack away a number of onesies that he has already outgrown, mostly in height. It makes me feel all warm and gooey inside knowing the boob-buffet is making him grow!

We've gotten into the habit of reading books (not a bad habit, eh?), and he loves the artwork of Eric Carle. I found one book called Animals Animals, which is a collection of Carle's artwork and poems compiled by Laura Whipple. What a treat!

We want to send out a special welcome to a new cousin. Congratulations Jeff and Jess! We can't wait to meet your beautiful little girl!
