Pictures of Porter

A few shots from the past couple of months (August and September).  Enjoy!

Brian and Porter went to visit Jamie and Sue Cameron in Black Mountain in early August.  Jamie is a Park Ranger at Lake James State Park, and he enjoyed showing the boys around.  Porter especially enjoyed the water and wildlife.

Halt!  You have gone too far without a guide!

Can I poke it with this stick, Ranger Jamie?

Toads are so neat!

There's nothing like a dip in a cool mountain stream!

If I catch one, we can eat it, right?

OOO!  Big, tasty ones!

The end of August was pretty momentous for the little man.  He pooped in the potty for the first time!  He'll hate me one day for this, but I don't give a $h!t.

Beach time!

Flounder for supper?

Too small

Be free, flounder!

Of course it's a female striped killifish, Mama.  It has stripes instead of bars.  Duh.

Pretty pup!

Brian got his first deer of the year with his bow on the 21st of September.  A beautiful 6-point buck.  We feasted on backstrap and heart for supper that night!
