Family and Friends

During our last few days in NL, we visited with lots of family and friends.

We took a road trip to Grand Falls-Windsor to visit Uncle Reg and Aunt Mary, and their dog, Josh. I don't know who was more intrigued; Porter or Josh!



Jeff, Jess and Yael stopped by for a visit. It was cute to see them interacting!

During the Fish, Fun & Folk Festival, Porter and I were lucky enough to walk in the parade with the Hamlyn-High clan. We dressed up as haulers in an old-fashioned house haul. The kids looked quite cute in their salt and pepper caps!


Every trip to NL must include a boat ride, hopefully with some fishing. Luckily we were there during the food fishery, and Uncle Mike showed Porter how it should be done. The fish were big and in shallow water, so were pretty feisty! We got our 15 fish in about 30 minutes. What a great day on the water! Thanks again to Cooper B. for the life jacket. Porter wore it for about 3 seconds then went into meltdown mode!
